A Once-in-a-Generation Celebration

The Town of Medfield invites you to celebrate 375 years of history, community, and hometown pride with a full day of festivities that will bring residents, families, alumni, and visitors together for an unforgettable celebration.

Grand Parade

11:00 AM

The celebration begins with Medfield's largest community parade in generations.

The parade will feature:

  • Marching bands

  • Historic reenactors

  • Military and public safety tributes

  • Antique and classic vehicles

  • Community organizations

  • Local businesses

  • Equestrian groups

  • Special performances

  • And much more!

The parade will travel through the heart of downtown Medfield, creating an exciting and festive atmosphere for spectators of all ages.

Party in the Park

Immediately Following the Parade (Approximately 1:00–4:00 PM)

Meeting House Pond

When the parade concludes, the celebration continues just across the street at Meeting House Pond for Party in the Park, presented in partnership with Bellforge Arts Center.

Enjoy an afternoon featuring:

  • Live music throughout the afternoon

  • Food trucks

  • Family-friendly entertainment

  • Community gathering spaces

  • Beer & wine garden for adults 21+

  • A beautiful setting to relax, connect, and celebrate together

Admission

Both the parade and Party in the Park are free and open to everyone.

Planning Your Visit

With thousands of people expected in Medfield on October 17, a little advance planning will help make your day as easy and enjoyable as possible.

🚗 Spectator Parking & Free Shuttle Service

Free public spectator parking will be available at Wheelock Elementary School, 17 Elm Street.

The parking lot will open at 9:00 AM, with free shuttle service beginning at 9:30 AM.

Shuttles will run continuously between the public parking area and downtown Medfield throughout the parade and Party in the Park.

With road closures and very limited street parking expected in the center of town, spectators are strongly encouraged to use the designated public parking area and complimentary shuttle service.

The final shuttle will leave the downtown pickup location at 4:45 PM.

♿ Accessible Parking & Assistance

Accessible parking spaces will be available within the public parking area at Wheelock Elementary School.

For guests who may need a little additional assistance after arriving downtown, a golf cart will be available at the shuttle drop-off location to assist with getting into the center of town.
