The celebration doesn’t end when the Grand Parade does.

 

As the parade winds down, make your way toward Meeting House Pond and keep the day going at Party in the Park, presented in partnership with Bellforge Arts Center.

 

Bring a chair or blanket, grab something to eat or drink, find a spot on the lawn and settle in for an afternoon of live music, activities and community celebration.

Live Music

​

Live music begins at 1:00 PM.

​

1:00 PM — Soft Touch Dance Band
An 18-piece big band performing swing-era music, mid-century favorites, Broadway hits, classic rock and contemporary favorites.

​

2:00 PM — Copilot
A six-piece Boston-based band blending rock, pop, Americana and soul, known for rich vocal harmonies and energetic live performances.

​

3:00 PM — Hill House
A nine-piece Boston funk-pop band featuring powerhouse vocals, horns and a sound built for dancing.

There will be plenty happening beyond the stage, including:

• Participatory art led by Bellforge

• Lawn games

• Face painting

• Food trucks

• Beer and wine garden for adults 21+

• Fire Chief’s parade trophy presentation

Party in the Park is designed to flow right out of the Grand Parade.

When the parade passes your viewing area, start making your way toward Meeting House Pond. Bring a chair or blanket, grab something to eat, find a comfortable spot on the lawn and enjoy the afternoon.
